Wonderful Day!

I got to go with my mom to a local mall today. Before we went to the mall we stopped at my college which is on the way so I could pick up my masters diploma. I officially have a masters degree in science for teaching! At the mall we hit the usual stores: Sanrio, Bare Minerals, Lane Bryant, Nordstroms, and Torrid. I had to stop after almost every store because of the pain in my knee. However, I surprised myself, I was able to get on the down elevator without a big issue. It hurt getting on, but I didn't feel like I was going to fall over or anything. I got a new casual/work black skirt. I'm having to wear skirts and dresses or very loose pant while I'm wearing my brace. When work starts again next week that won't be too difficult as most of my work clothes are skirts and dresses, but right now it's a pain if I go anywhere. I've been wearing the same jean skirt over and over. I have another jean skirt, but I need to wear leggings with it and that with the brace would be too hot! I also got two dressier shirts and a casual one. That plus the dress I ordered from Pyramid Collection will give me enough new looks with the old stuff I already have. I also was able to get the dress in a size smaller! I've lost 11 lbs. in a little over 2 months. I picked up some new eyeshadow and liner at Bare Minerals. I'm going to try the solid eyeshadow and see how it compares to the loose powder shadow. I bought new pens and pencils for the school year at Sanrio. I can't believe how expensive their stuff is getting...but I will still buy it because the pens are cute and last forever. At Nordstrom I got an Amazing Grace gift set. It had the 30 oz lotion and shower gel, plus the body mist. I only use Amazing Grace because it is one thing that doesn't bother my allergies. The Philosophy lotion feels amazing and actually works! We ate at Ruby's. I love their food! Overall it was a really great day.
